I have myself paid a visit to this place and have thoroughly enjoyed myself with an amazing cycling experience swerving on the roads of this place. • Union Garden - An amazing place, this origin of this stupendous garden dates back to the colonial times, when street markets were positioned in this place and traditional festivities were held here. During the time of the reign of the Porfirio Diaz, shopping kiosks were built here and nowadays tourists from all over the world for the amazing shopping extravaganza that it has to offer visit this place. I have been to this place, enjoyed the appetizing ice creams, and simply gorged on the various delightful flavors that were available in this place.
• Juarez Theatre - The Juarez Theatre is certainly an inimitable landmark located in the city of Guanajuato.

• San Diego de Alcantara Temple - This magnificent temple was built during the 17th Century. Its pink-quarry facade is an archetypal example of the Mexican Chirrugueresque architectural style and has been built in baroque style. On the inside are beautifully depicted the images of Christ and this temple also features an imposing collection of the 18th-Century Mexican paintings. You will be completely awe-inspired by viewing these beautiful paintings, which are easily worthy of display in any modern museum. Located in the Union Garden, this temple is truly a majestically built temple.
• The Temple of San Cayetano (La Valenciana) - Located on a high mountain road, this is a beautiful church site located in the hillside, which is situated in the proximity of the valley of Guanajuato. Established by the great Don Antonio de Obregon Alcocer, the construction of this temple started in 1775 and was completed in the year 1788. Imbued with enthralling architectural magnificence, this temple is built using the Spanish Baroque or Churrigueresque style of architecture and is a must visit place for its beauty. A unique edifice, the temple of San Cayetano is built with a pink quarry rock and also incorporates a special altarpiece enclosed in a gold leaf. One can get and rare glimpse into the Mexican culture by visiting this church.
• Cristo Rey del Cubilete - Located on the Cubilete Hill in the city of Guanajuato, just a stone’s throw away from Guanajuato, the beautiful sanctuary of Cristo Rey del Cubilete, is positioned on a mountain. To visit this place, you will have to travel 3000 feet to reach the peak where this temple is located. I have paid a visit to this place and was extremely enthralled to see the incredibly tall Christ statue.
• The mummies museum - This museum is a very amazing place and ironically it was originally a temple and was the main cemetery located in the place of Guanajuato and was used for the burial of royal bodies. In 1865, when this place was historically discovered, the first mummified bodies of the former residents of the region were found. • The peace plaza - Peace Plaza is one of the greatest plazas located in the city of Guanajuato. Inaugurated by the renowned Mexican President Porfirio Diaz in the year 1903, this is a place which should be on every visitor’s itinerary of he/she wants to know more about the Mexican legacy. This gorgeous place has been an spectator to many crucial events that have taken place in the Mexican history like the rebellion of the mining towns against the tortures of the colonial government. I was moved to tears when I paid a visit to this place by seeing the purity. I certainly felt a reverence for the Mexican people when I visited this sight.
