Villa, this square is near the major urban grid of the city of Oxaca. During the colonial era, the square of Zócalo was neither cemented nor had an ample amount of sitting arrangements but things changed considerably when a fountain of marble was put up in this place in the year 1739.

New Market-Another delightful place that can be visited while coming to the region of Oaxaca is a souvenir market called the “la Verde Antequera” which was previously known by the name of Nueva Antequera. Have an amazing place time exploring the stone structures of this place built from indigenously found green stone.
