I went here with my boyfriend in February and we had the time of our lives! We loved the walking, and the food was delicious! Compared to the RIU Playacar, which we went to last year, the Grand Sirenis seemed to have a wider variety, which is great because I am a vegan. We loved the walks, and how the hotel is cut out of the beautiful nature surrounding. We LOVED the snorkeling, and exploring the beach. This was a hotel that was quite different than others because there was miles and miles of open beach to explore! It was just beautiful. We will go back, and back, and back. WE LOVE MEXICO!!!

Stayed 7 nights in December 2009. Only 1/2 the resort open, so service was excellent, beach chairs plentiful, as resort not at full capacity. Food not as elegant as some other AIs, but always a nice, fresh variety. Kids pool seemed to lack pizzazz. Overall, if you like the feel of "jungle," the GS would be a good choice. Snorkeling here was a good experience. Enjoyed our stay, and would return at the same price point.

Hey great site! I figured you should mention ways to get to the Tijuana Airport. Here are a few that I am aware of:

1. Otay Park & Shuttle (in Otay Mesa - the Border crossing closest to the Tijuana Airport)
2. Walk across and take a taxi
3. Have a friend take you! - might be someone that owes you a big favor due to the return delayed lines entering back into San Diego.
